    The slugs ate almost all my plants, which I started in April, and in 1 night they were gone. So, thanks for this video of 'hope' for my garden, and for me. I like your selection, and will try them. (We've got the slug problem under control, for now. According to the experts this year is especially bad for gardens, because they multiplied 10 fold. I'm in Denmark, just wondering if it is the same in the UK.)

    I don't take that long cuttings, just the tip and one full pair of leaves. I find they root much quicker than these long ones, and I get to shape my plants without their 'leg'. But then I am growing for showing as well

    For someone who works in the medical field, I learn pronunciation from the people around me, and I have all the confidence in the world that I mispronounce most medicine names!!     Good morning thanks for the helpful video, when its the right time to take the cutting from fushia please, i live in zo e 10. Every year i buy a fushia plant i water it when the soil is dry but in summer it die, what am doing wrong, this year i bought another 1 and i had put in the kitchen window sill. It have alot of light, no sun.please help me I wish to survive my fushia. Thanks and good day

      It is plainly too hot for your plant. You should plant your fuchsia in a bigger pot, and shade the root as well. But choise of variety is also important. The triphylla group are originally from hotter climate and therefore tolerates heat and sum better. But try to keep the roots a bit cooler nevertheless.

      They like to be feeded once a week. You need to use half the strength of the fertilizer . I like miracle grow for flowering plants and they like humidity. I hope this helps. Happy growing!😊

    Hey thanks so much for the great info! Just what I was looking for. I grew potatoes in large fabric bags last year and the dirt has overwintered in them. So I’ll amend the soil as you describe and grow spinach, kale, etc. I’ve not seen the fish/blood/bone product around here (Sequim, WA, USA). Could I mix it from the components?

    Great instructions. I've just learnt (@rosy hardy gardening) that Vermiculite is not a sustainable or green product. It goes through so many processes. She recommends cork chippings as its a natural by product from Cork production and sustainable 😊

    Thanks for sharing the calendar. I purchased the same case for my veg seeds. I labelled each case in alpha order. Ie beans, celeriac, cucumber etc based on what i grow. Ive now purchased another one for flower seeds but how do you file them. Do you file them on month order or name of seed. I realise that there is more than one flower seed beginning with A but the boxes are large enough for more than one pack of seeds. Thanks
